? This openess of PLCnext Technology opened up a large new set of options for our customer Strypes in the Netherlands. As early adopter the customer could experience how well the different programming languages such as IEC 61131 and high-level languages such as C++ or C# worked together in development environments, e.g. Matlab Simulink or PC Worx Engineer.
? Furthermore the use of open-source software and apps improves the efficiency of development processes in the infrastructure industry. This way, new IoT-based business models for a future-proof product can be implemented.
